About the event
As a guest ensemble at the ISCM World New Music Days Festival, Ensemble Modern will give master classes to members of the MIAGI Orchestra in preparation for their joint concert on Wednesday, November 29, at the University of Johannesburg.
The workshop will take place at the Morris Isaacson Centre for Music in two daily three-hour sessions with two simultaneous sub-groups (9.30-12.30 and 13.30-16.30).
On Tuesday, November 28, Ensemble Modern and the MIAGI Orchestra will give a short concert at the Morris Isaacson Music Centre (Soweto), which is free and open to the local community (5-6pm).
